A major US military build-up is in full swing in the Caribbean.
The Trump administration insists it’s aimed at curbing drug-trafficking, and has ordered a series of lethal strikes on suspected smuggling vessels.
But Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro has accused Washington of trying to justify a war to seize his country’s vast oil and gas reserves.
