When Ivan passed in Grenada our population was 110'000, today we are 120,000. And st Patrick's were standing when Ivan passed. All houses were still standing some did not even got a scratch so it where the eye passed this was destroyed. Lost of the abandoned buildings in Grenada stands because the owner died and family are abroad so it stand there rotting. But we got lost of aid and Grenadians don't wait for help we started putting up or roofs without help.
We are just different from other nations. Jamaicans always crying for help because they become lazy and learn self helpless.. look at carriacou , after one year since Beryl almost completely rebuilt.

That person from Grenada is very unfair in the comments. Have they seen the videos of communities where most of the houses are flattened and even the foundation s are gone? Many Jamaicans have started rebuilding. We are mostly hardworking people. In case you're not aware, Jamaica is much bigger than Grenada and many other islands, so this disaster is spread widely. This is a major setback, but we will rise and fight for our country 💪 🇯🇲
