Ibrahim Traoré’s New Railway Plan for Burkina Faso
Burkina Faso is planning a major upgrade under President Ibrahim Traoré.
A brand-new modern railway network has been announced to replace old tracks and improve national transportation. The plan includes high-standard rail lines and possible regional links like the Ghana–Burkina Faso railway connection.
The project is currently in the planning and preparation stage, but if completed, it could transform the country’s trade, speed, and economic growth.
