No the man had an induced alcohol heart attack he was unhealthy to begin with as someone that's had three heart attacks and open heart surgery when you have heart problems you do not drink alcohol so it was his discretion on drinking the alcohol or not.

Who drinks 33 drinks? Definitely not his first time. No one’s tolerance is that high without a history of drinking. This is on the drinker, not on Royal Caribbean. Family is just trying to get a pay day for his poor decisions. Also there’s a waiting period between getting drinks on Royal Caribbean. This is a pure money grab for poor decisions.

Looks like buying a drink package and actually getting your money's worth is possible.
An obese guy drinking himself to death is one thing. Getting sedated by security (who aren’t medical experts) and asphyxiated while intoxicated is another thing.
This lawsuit sounds like a money grab by the family UNTIL you see the coroner report. And hear about the forced sedation. I definitely hear where people are coming from when he chose to drink and wasn’t forced. But how can drinking yourself to death be medically diagnosed as a homicide?
Cruise lines are some of the most wealthy private companies on earth… who’s to say they didn’t lobby for this story to be shown in this light.
2 sides to every story
If cruise lines want to change they should imbed software in their drink serving systems that tracks how often a passenger is drinking. Put a chip in the wristband, scan the wristband before serving a drink, and the passengers entire time stamped drink history shows up on screen. If more than two or three drinks on record have been consumed in a short period of time flag their account for an hour or two then start serving them again. Like a party person time out. The Cruise lines would have to lower prices bc it would make it more challenging to get your money's worth like this guy but a bit of lost revenue is still cheaper than tens of millions or hundreds of millions lost to lawsuits.

33 drinks? That’s a full box of wine at one go. Did one bartender serve him all the drinks? It’s hard to imagine that happening. He probably blacked out after the first 20.
the thing is most cruises has drink PKG, and with that you cannot limit anyone to drinks they already paid for. You can refuse to serve them anymore alcohol at one bar, but they can simply move on to another bar and get more drinks.

Alcohol doesn't "make" people mean.
Alcohol makes them forget to keep up the nice act and reveal the mean person they are underneath.
His sniveling lawyer is crying to the media that Royal Caribbean put him in a fridge for the rest of the cruise.
This is a misdirection hoping to gain sympathy from people who are ignorant.
A fridge is exactly where a hospital or a funeral home would have stored his body. It slows decomposition.
As for changing the course of the cruise, you don't ruin a vacation (and your business relationship) with THOUSANDS of ticketed passengers because one dummy found acting like an adult too difficult.
A grown man has the ability to make his own choices, and cruises are known for excessive alcohol. No one made him order over 30 drinks, and security had to step in when his actions became violent. Could they have handled this better – absolutely. But they had every reason to think he could hurt someone based on his actions, and, while they are rightfully devastated, I think his family needs to admit that a large majority of this tragedy was due to the decisions of the deceased.
Why would you mix sedatives with alcohol wth is wrong with people this guy was blacked out not delirious you killed him when you gave him that injection
