Somali Defence Minister Slams Trump’s Racist Remarks | Firstpost Africa | N18G

US President Donald Trump’s repeated anti-Somalia and anti-immigrant remarks have ignited a firestorm of controversy and global backlash. The latest comments, made at a rally, saw Trump denounce migration from countries like Somalia, calling them a “disaster,” “filthy, dirty, disgusting, ridden with crime,” and expressing a preference for migrants from “white countries” such as Norway and Sweden. The Somali Defence Minister, Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, rejected Trump’s characterisation, asserting that the Somali people are known for their hard work and resilience, while thanking the US for its military support against terrorists. Trump’s rhetoric has been escalating, including his past use of a racial slur to describe Haiti and African nations, and recent comments calling Somalis “garbage.” He has also repeatedly called for the deportation of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, who migrated from Somalia.

  1. I don't mean any harm but president Trump is doing what he promised us voters. We voted for him to get people out of our country that don't belong here. People that came here illegally. The people that over stayed their visas. And the people that were only supposed to be in our country temporarily.

  2. Present Trump isn't being racist, not really. Let's be real. People coming from 3 and 4 world countries most of them don't have any skills. They get on welfare when they come here. Where as people coming European countries wouldn't need to be on welfare. They can come here and pay taxes and help with building our infrastructure.

  3. Lol 😂 Is he calling the European countries refugees 😂why would they come to America when the American people don’t even have free healthcare and there’s homeless people everywhere 😮We can’t also deny he has many criminal cases against him 😮We also found out that there are many Somali Doctors, Teachers, Nurses, politicians, real estate agents, business owners and other professionals in the world 👌. This man is also right we have never seen a president publicly showing his racism and it’s shameful 😮.

  4. American people are great in all aspects. But; Trump is absolutely confused due to neurodegenerative dementia, this is why his way of communication, thinking and behavior are affected. Instead of pointing out to Ilhan Omar he is as always generalizing and insulting the entire Somali nation. Trump; doesn't know or even remember his title. We the Somali people really feel sorrow for the great nation "America".

  5. DIFFERENCES BETWEEN MAD MEDIAS AND NORMAL MEDIAS IS
1.MAD MEDIAS IS LORDS OF FAKE NEWS SUCH AS WAR BETWEEN SMALL TERRORISTS AND GREAT GOVERNMENTS THAT MEAN SMALL AND GREAT IS SAME THAT IS SIN WE BELIEVE GOD IS GREAT AND SMALL AND GREAT IS NOT SAME POWERS BECAUSE WE BELIEVE GOD IS GREAT POWER WAR IS WAR BETWEEN SAME POWERS AND WAR BETWEEN SAME POWERS IS SAME DESTROYED FOREXAMPLE GOVERNMENTS ATTACKS IN THE TERRORISTS NATIONS ANSWER ATTACKS FROM TERRORISTS IN THE ANTI TERRORISTS GOVERNMENTS ANSWER FROM TERRORISTS IS SUCH AS ATTACKS FROM GOVERNMENTS THAT MEAN SAME POWERS.
2.NORMAL MEDIAS THIER AFFAIRS IS NORMAL AFFAIRS SUCH AS MORE MEDIAS.
SOME MEDIAS AND SOME GOVERMENTS IS DEVILS thier affaies is small terrorists and great nations is same that mean small and great is same and reject to god is great they reject god is great. War between small 6 years boy and great 20 years man is not same powers therefore war between 6 years boy and 20 years man is mad and unbelievable some times they rejected intelligent laws.

  6. Walz replaced the Minnesota flag with a clone of the Somali flag!!

    – JD Vance RIPS Tim Walz over 'shameful' military service:

When Tim Waltz was asked by his country to go to Iraq you know what he did?

He dropped out of the army! He has not spent a day in a combat zone!

Do not pretend to be something that you're not!

    – Tim Walz set up his honeymoon in 1994 in China.

He said: "I've lived in China, I've been there about 30 times!

I don't fall into the category that China necessarily needs to be an adversarial relationship."

-He started a company to organize trips to China and also his business.

    – James Hutton, a former assistant secretary at the Department of Veterans Affairs, said "Walz doesn’t see China as a problem."

"This is a guy who will have to learn the truth of the vicious nature of the dictatorship in Beijing. Communist tyranny may not be a bad thing to Walz, but the rest of the world knows. Walz is dangerous."

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) posted: “Tim Walz owes the American people an explanation about his unusual, 35-year relationship with Communist China.”

  7. This is why the Western country's don't like a somalia 🇸🇴
🇸🇴 African Countries / Movements Supported by Somalia (1970s–1980s)
Here are the main ones clearly documented:
South Africa – support for the ANC against apartheid
Zimbabwe (Rhodesia) – support for ZANU/ZAPU liberation fighters
Mozambique – FRELIMO against Portuguese rule
Angola – MPLA against Portuguese rule
Namibia – SWAPO against South African occupation
Eritrea – independence struggle from Ethiopia
Uganda – support for anti-Idi Amin forces (late 1970s)
Kenya – earlier and indirect support for anti-colonial movements
Tanzania – political and diplomatic solidarity
Zambia – cooperation as a frontline state against apartheid

  8. How come no one’s mentioning all the Fraud they were committing in Minnesota? That’s the reason for it, huh? Nothing about the billions , the tax payers money, they turned that place into theirs
