Rescue teams have recovered remains believed to be that of the missing SANDF member this afternoon on the borderline of Mozambique and South Africa in Komatipoort, Mpumalanga. The two soldiers were swept by the Nkomati River on Christmas Day when they were trying to cross on the low-lying Komati Bridge towards Lebombo Border Post. The remains were found about two kilometers from the scene where the incident happened.

  2. Very sad, condolences to the families and friends. I take my hat off to the SANDF Brigadier who was interviewed, it couldn't have been easy at all and he did a great job on his interview. Thank you for keeping us updated. 🙏
