A man from Brush Park was supposed to be making his way home from Guana Island on Saturday. Following the overnight military operation in Venezuela, he woke up to check his flight and found it was canceled.

The Southern Caribbean airports were not shut down. Flights were leaving those airports to other places except to the US. Companies like American Airlines, United Airlines, Delta, Jet Blue, etc. were affected. Companies like British Airways, KLM, etc. en route to Europe from the West Indies/Southern Caribbean were not affected by the American airspace situation.
The lack of empathy is crazzzzy. Wow most of these responses are crazy. Not just his island but all of the Caribbean was affected. Being stuck anywhere can be a hassle. When I'm ready to go home, I'm ready to go home, period. It also cost more money 💰 to stay extra days.
