A Phoenix couple says their 9-day Caribbean Carnival cruise ended in a traumatic case of mistaken identity after they said federal agents burst into their cabin early on the final morning and detained Jose Martinez — a U.S. citizen and Coast Guard veteran — while looking for someone else.
Martinez and his wife, Tamara Verhas, said the agents handcuffed him, separated him from his wife and held him for nearly two hours before verifying his identity with fingerprints and a photo. The couple says the agents believed his name matched a person wanted on drug trafficking warrants. They also say there was no apology after he was returned to the ship.

I suffered something similar ln France. I am still with after shock simptoms, I wake up scared someone might take me abd my daughter again.
In my case They apologized 17 hours after, but my autist daughter is still traumatized. Shame on police, now they are cruel
