Protests in Minneapolis After Deadly Shooting by ICE Agents

An Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer fatally shot a woman during a confrontation in Minneapolis, sparking an uproar over the presence of ICE agents in the city.

The shooting happened during a targeted operation amid a broader immigration effort, with the woman sitting in her car blocking a residential street because of the presence of federal agents.

The incident has ignited a political firestorm, with Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey calling for ICE agents to leave the city and Senator Amy Klobuchar faulting the Trump administration for sending federal agents onto the streets against the wishes of local law enforcement.

  1. If you Americans don't stand up now, you'll regret it. They talk about freedom but there is a dictator in your office. He is not even trying to hide it. He admits it everytime he is mocking elections. Stand up or live to regret it. The same things happened when Hitler took power. Look up Stasi, look up how they "advanced interrogated" your Government uses the third Reich as a guide book.
Republicans you should be pro constitution, 2 terms served is all he should. Be allowed. If you are conservative, conserve the constitution.
Republicans means "res publica" , power of the people, it is in your name!

  2. This behavior leads to destruction. I used to think freedom meant doing whatever I wanted too. I had to learn the hard way that rebellion doesn’t lead to peace. Every society that embraces lawlessness ends in pain. God’s boundaries aren’t to control us — they’re to protect us. What do you think happens when everyone becomes their own authority? If love means no boundaries, how does justice exist? Grace isn’t permission to rebel; it’s power to change. I don’t hate illegals or protesters or anyone. I’m actually concerned about where this leads, because I believe God is real, eternity is real, and Jesus offers forgiveness and life — not chaos.

  3. A buddy and I got arrested for throwing two each very hard packed snowballs from a dead snowman at a police car when we were 9 or 10 years old. The loudness of the boom boom booms against the metal door of the car was exhilarating. The red and blue lights went on and started spinning as the car stopped hard. We ran, he chased and ordered us to stop. He sent us home with a warning and told us we would need to tell our parents what happened.
I get how these protesters must be getting a real “high” from harassing and intimidating these law enforcement men and women of our federal forces. It is the exhilaration but without any real consequences. They get adulation as courageous freedom fighters from their base even though they are all so very misguided and deceived. We were 9 year old boys and we knew what we did was wrong. These are adults and should know better. Please stop encouraging these people if you have been. People are going to get hurt and even lose their lives in the heightened emotions of this collective craziness. Change the immigration laws if you don’t agree with them but enforcing them is the responsibility of the federal agencies that are sworn to uphold the law. Let them do their jobs without threat or harassment or you might end up like the January 6 folks. They thought they were right also.

  4. Looks like a bunch of losers that can’t contribute anything else to society so they throw snowballs and harass law enforcement all day long. And here they say they’re “making an impact”.

  5. Why are they letting these people do this? This is not peaceful protest, they go after the officers they threaten them. They throw objects at them. Arrest them or shoot them!! Unfortunately, that's why that woman lost her life because she was an idiot!

  6. Why aren’t we hearing about any state and local law enforcement involvement or working side by side with ICE? Is it because they’re directed not to assist ICE or that ICE doesn’t want their involvement/assistance? Or something else? Seems like every time we hear about FBI, state and local police are on the scene and working together.

  7. If the ice agents were outside of my home right now, I definitely would not be outside, I would not let my daughter outside, we would stay in the house until they leave the area. Common sense just tells me that if I were to impede or get in the way, my life may be in danger, evidently other people don't care enough about their life or their children's life to do the same and mind their own damn business. People out here acting a fool like this is not going to make the ice agents go away. And being outside of their hotel, trying to keep the ice agents awake all night, people who are sleep-deprived do some crazy, crazy things…. Especially when you've already had a warning to go on and get the hell out of dodge, but no you choose to stay and be an idiot……..

  8. I just love how people that don't even live in America have such an opinion on this… They act like they live in a high rise and they're watching all of this with their own eyeballs in real time….. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

  9. The only thing is going to happen homeland security will end up broke. Like everything on on our country just. Because we dont. Go out on mass demostración we need to go out in peace. All together quit be afraid

  10. Let’s see. January 7th was a Wednesday. Hmmm. Let me complain that I can’t afford anything but yet I have time to break the law by impeding law officers and harassing them instead of working. Hmmmmm
