U.S. military forces said they intercepted a third oil tanker under U.S. sanctions after tracking it from the Caribbean Sea into the Indian Ocean.

The Pentagon announced Tuesday that the ship, called the Bertha, was boarded overnight during what officials described as a routine maritime interdiction operation.
