  1. the shot in screenshot is as in the synonym for photograph, which itself derives from the act of "shooting phtographs" with a camera… so the verb screenshot is already past tense. the present/future tense version of the verb should presumably be screenshoot. as in "i will screenshoot what i'm seeing, and send you the screenshot".
    screenSHAT is simply unacceptable 😅

  2. Lol you know everytime DEI and BBBEE policies are discussed, I remember this one time in high school when my white classmate was angry that she didn't make it to a provincial sport team because the coach had ignorantly told her they were required to have at least 2 black girls in the team. Despite the fact that 9 out of the 12 people on the team were white, she felt the black girl was unfairly chosen over her purely based on race. DEI and BBBEE policies ensure that vulnerable, previously disadvantaged people who have been systematically denied access to opportunities, are not overlooked. So it is always very telling to me whenever someone feels a BBBEE requirement allows another to "take their place."

  3. Outrageous by the Americans, I think they threw BEE in there for domestic support. The policy itself is wrong and its execution has been atrocious. Kill the Boer is still an outrageous thing regardless that a bad actor named it as an issue.

  4. The Western Cape Premier and Mayor of Cape Town had a meeting with their new bestie Bozell.
Bozell said: "great meeting", "discussed shared priorities" and "looking forward to continued collaboration".
I wonder which of Bozell's demands the DA sees as a shared priority and would be collaborating on.
28:28 PS: Thank you for the "screenshat" response and discussion.
So proud of my moment of fame.

  5. America has been the angry brat for centuries, can we pacify the problem child somehow, please. 😒

    SIDE NOTE:
Tell me why tf I learned all the American presidents and states in South Africa History class, but most Americans can’t pick us out on a map? 🙃
