It is deeply concerning that Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, a leading Democratic candidate for governor, has not provided a clear and substantive response to allegations of discrimination within her own office.

Reports of a significant settlement involving a Black woman employee, along with an active lawsuit brought forward by current and former employees, raise serious and legitimate concerns.
