In 2026, I am hearing people in leadership referring to the Jamaican Creole, commonly called " Patois" , " broken English ". ,and " a dialect". Hmmm. SMH.
Jamaican creole is not a dialect. It's a language although it does not occupy the same sociolinguistic domain as English which is the official language of the island.
Please people all over the world please stop donating you're hard working money to help the people of Jamaica 🇯🇲 because they not going to receive any help please find others ways to help the people's of Jamaica please God bless you all that see the needs of the Jamaicans people's

Thats right madam speaker, if you cannot, or do not know how to speak properly or is trying to be cute, then shut your mouth. There is a time and place for everything and the world is watching and listening to you all up in parliament making fools out of yourselves, these are some of the same reasons why others ridicule and laugh at us as some of us cannot even make a proper statement in English, not even some of us Jamaicans understand the patois.
