WLOS — Carl the sasquatch is back for round two of a scavenger hunt across the Smokies in North Carolina.
The Visit Smokies campaign invites hundreds of explorers to follow social media clues to find Carl, a hidden life-size sasquatch mannequin.
Clues for Carl’s hiding spots will be posted on the social media pages of Visit Smokies.
Starting June 1, Carl will move to a new hiding place every two weeks at Visit Smokies Travel Guide businesses, with each spot having its own raffle, Visit Smokies adds.

When you find Carl:
- Check in with the QR code
- Take a photo with Carl
- Enter the location’s raffle
The current hiding spot is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days a week.
