Ibrahim Traoré Bans Sharia Law… I Fully Support It

Ibrahim Traoré’s reported decision regarding Sharia law has sparked debate across Africa and throughout the African diaspora.

In this video, I explain why I support the principle of maintaining a secular state and why I believe governments should protect the religious freedom of all citizens while ensuring that no single religious legal system supersedes national law. We discuss the broader implications for governance, national unity, religious liberty, constitutional order, and Burkina Faso’s future.

This conversation is not about attacking any religion. It is about discussing the relationship between faith and government, the role of the state in a diverse society, and why these conversations matter for Africa’s development.

Whether you agree or disagree, I encourage respectful dialogue in the comments. Let’s discuss the ideas, the policy, and the future of Burkina Faso and the African continent.

At Danfo, we believe the best way to understand Africa is to experience it firsthand. We curate immersive cultural experiences that connect travelers with the history, people, traditions, and beauty of the continent.

  1. Around 700 CE, Arabs came south of the Sahara Desert to trade for Ghana's war captives. The Ghanian merchants adopted Islam to facilitate their new slave trade. This is how the Arab-African slve trade began and why some African countries are Muslim. I think all African Muslim countries should ban Islam!! Of course, the Christian religion needs to be banned as well, in addition to Judaism!!

  2. There is no democracy in Africa . Argue from now till 2050 . It was democracy that impoverished nations. Democracy does not answer questions, it shuts people up and kill protesters. Democracy hordes food supply and watch poor masses go hungry. I don't see Traore as a dictator because he is cutting out unnecesary branches that constitute nuisance.

  3. The sis was right on one thing islam that is push in Africa and the middle east is not the same the more African turn from our Traditions and all out follow these Middle Easterner and Westerners the more lost we are… we must find a balance between Traditions and different cultures that are productive

  4. We see the funding of Extremist Muslim by the Qutars ,Saudi etc in Sudan ,Central Africa Republic, Sahel, Mozambique, Chad ,Northern Nigeria and North Benin and Somali even Northern Kenyan …..Love the Aes salutes to Aes

  5. ….but Aes underestimate these middle eastern people and some of these African people down play the fact These middle eastern Muslim never saw African Islam as correct even tho some African converted before many Arabs and but view African islam as incorrect it is documented

  6. AES Should rejoin the A.U and push A.U reform ,defense, self funding cause they will be targeted as was mozambique, Sudan,Chad,Nigeria why not challenged these common enemies with more coordination??

  7. You're not in that climate to understand African problem. He was born in it.
He was born in it, and he knows what he's doing. You're not in that man's shoes to want better for his people. Africans have a different mindset.
You're not going to say that about China, you're not gonna say that about Russia. You're not gonna say that about Japan. Why is the black man always so hard on their own and look at the Indians from India look how they come into Africa? What are they doing for the African government? There are no different from the Chinese. And the white Europeans matter of fact, Britain used them as a puppet to create an illusion. They are a sore thumb to Africa. They keep on, they keep Africa underdeveloped. You think the black man can go into India and do what the Indians do in Africa? The man is right. The man respect a lot of Africans. All right, compromise, look at all. The old leaders look at all the old leaders. They haven't done a d*** thing but compromise Africa. What have they done for the people to make their people proud of them
This man only been in office.
For 4 years and these accomplished so much, what takes others a lifetime get out of here. He has every right to ban sharia law. Look at what the arabs have done the disrespect. Till this day, the Arab nations are enslaving our black people till this day, I'm Africa. She should denounce every Muslim religion in Africa. Africa should denounce every Muslim religion in Africa. Africa should denounce the Muslim name. Why? Why? Why? Because arabs enslaved my people and till this day the arabs has enslaved our enslaving and doing brutal and horrible things to the black man
Can the black man go and enslave, an Arab? Can the black man brutalize an Arab
The horrible history of what the arabs did to my people. Horrible the black man has never done no race but his own the black man. Alls are her hurt his own self, but everybody comes in an attack. The black man look they showed a video of a Chinese beating an African with a belt like children
And kick in an African like children just kicking kicking an African man with his foot and beating him with his belt
Time for everybody, time for the Chinese to go home. Time for the Indians from India to go home. Time for the white man to go home time for everybody to leave. Africa, Africa needs to heal. The black man cannot go to. Nobody's country and do what everybody else is doing. In Africa, time for all the Africans to come home and build a country and time for everybody to go back to China. And India and Europe. Yup, time to clean the continent, clean it up, get rid of all of them time to shove the arabs in in one corner, because they're a pain to africa, they are in a nuisance to africa🎉😢🎉😢🎉🎉🎉

  8. You know what you worry about, what's going on with damp Donald Trump right here in America? Why don't you go and build some schools down south in the deep south, where it looks like a Plantation. Still, I want you to worry about how your black people live in here in America. Stop meddling stop talking about somebody else's business. You don't know, I keep telling you, you don't know what you're talking about. You only talking because you talking

  9. Since when does an African wants to ban something like Sharia law knowing that they have practices that are just as worse a prehistoric people trying to take the high road against another prehistoric people LMAO

  10. 1:19 👈🏿 Your totally wrong about that. You have to atleast NOT just read it but study it. You are conflating "Christianity" with Bible. They aren't the same thing. The Bible is an African book. The practices inside of scripture mirrors those of us on the continent. Once you know who is who then you'll understand that the Niger/Congo family along with our West African relatives and the Diaspora by way of slavery are the WHOLE HOUSE OF YASARA(Israel). Thats why all of this is happening. 24 hours after Ibrahim cut France off diplomatic OUR FATHER turned up the heat! The media want to be hush hush about it but take a look…the death toll is up to 20,000. Ill pray for all of your brothas that you all may see the TRUTH. 🙏🏿

  11. Democracy, functions as an instrument for Western domination and influence across the African continent. External actors subvert democratic outcomes through propaganda, systemic manipulation, and electoral interference—targeting populations with limited access to education and civic awareness—and vote rigging. A unsophisticated or uneducated electorate can produce catastrophic results for a nation's sovereignty. Until universal education is established, democracy of any sort remains a chaotic and unstable governance model for Africa. I am most grateful for Traore’s approach. May God diligently protect him.

  12. Elvis and sidi thought my brother from Liberia 🇱🇷 liked me, but they had been compromised by the European American cause I am too radical pan- African, as we all know Liberia 🇱🇷 and Ethiopian, Jamaica, black American started this ish

  13. Look around people open your eyes the people you name as dictators are doing much better than your so called democracy look at China look at Rwanda look at Barkina faso democracy is a tool is overrated

  14. Yeah, that phrase tht they used, “ kafir”. Is a slur, their equivalent of the “N”word. Apartheid of South Africa where the Colonizing govt, that terroriz’d the people of tht land. Than scrubbed and repurposed the WORD to hide it’s apartheid meaning/ ill intent to Desensitize others toward that targeted people. Now the Arabs after all they’ initiated through out time, dare throw salt in the Wound that hasn’t ever Healed ?!!

  15. Captain Ibrahim Traoé has my full support and complete trust in his vision and actions.

He embodies true humanity; he demonstrates the essence of love for one's neighbor. And he bears witness to the one, only God who gives life. Ibrahim Traoé is Muslim, I am Christian—no longer Catholic, not Protestant, but Christian. Period. Together we are brothers and sisters and children of God. May God bless him and grant him a long life in peace and freedom.
