RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Calling all actors! Black Hills Community Theater will be hosting auditions for two upcoming plays throughout the month of November.

The theater is looking for a diverse cast of performers of all genders, ages 18 and up. The director and production team are deeply committed to inclusion throughout the audition and rehearsal process.

Auditions for “The Calendar Girls” will be held on Saturday, November 8, from 1-3 p.m. and Sunday, Nov, 9, from 6-8 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center of Rapid City. . Performance Dates include Jan. 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, 31 at 7 p.m. and January 18, 25, and Feb. 1 at 2 p.m.

Auditions for “The Angel City Four” from “City of Angels” will be Monday, November 17th 6-8pm at the Performing Arts Center of Rapid City. Performance Dates run from March 13-22.

Auditions will consist of individual singing auditions followed by singing as a group and in harmony. Actors should prepare one minute from a jazz standard or musical theater song in the style of the show and bring either sheet music for the accompanist to the audition.
