Jackson Community explains their plans for Black Friday | News


Black Friday is only weeks away and with so much uncertainty many locals wonder about their own spending power for this year.

Residents have shared their own plans on how they plan to manage their spending power on Black Friday. 

“Black Friday, I might just go around a couple of stores, look around, see what’s there to offer. You know, I work at Marshall’s so I’m going to most definitely use that 10% discount,” London Murphy a resident in the community.

Stores in Jackson also shared on how they expect the holiday will go.

“Well, we know with the rising costs and of things and the tariffs right now, it’s hard. Everybody’s feeling it. So, we’re excited though about Black Friday and we’re gonna be doing some things that are a little bit different than we normally do in the past, to help our shoppers,” said Marcy Simpson, owner of Hattie’s.

With so much uncertainty be falling this year, one can only tell what this means for Black Friday and the community.
