CALDWELL, Texas (KBTX) – The Caldwell community will gather Saturday for the city’s first Black History Celebration, a free event honoring Black history, culture and legacy.
The celebration will take place Feb. 7 at 11 a.m. at the Caldwell Civic Center.
This year’s theme, “Black History Life Forum and Musical,” combines education, reflection and entertainment. The event will feature discussions highlighting the impact, resilience and contributions of Black Americans, along with musical performances celebrating heritage, faith and culture.
The community event is open to all ages and includes forums, live musical performances, community fellowship, cultural celebration, food and family-friendly entertainment.
Organizers encourage attendees to bring family, friends and neighbors to the celebration.
