Historic Oakland bakery tied to Black Panther Party closes its doors | KTVU



It’s All Good Bakery, which has operated out of it’s Martin Luther King Jr. Way location for 30 years, closed its doors for good on Sunday, citing the cost of ingredients and labor, among other causes. The business was notable for its connection to the Black Panther Party – the bakery is built in the revolutionary organization’s former headquarters.

  1. As someone who lived all over Oakland I love Oakland and always have I didn't know of this place which saddens me…I will put his success in my thoughts. Thankfully one place has remained and I hope continues…Ratto's Deli…been eating from them since the early 70's…

  2. See people say Black Americans don't want to live on California, but like how these white folks have Black Americans jump thru hoops to own land and etc in California

  3. So what? The history of thugs, of liars and thieves should not be celebrated by anyone. As usual, the blacks fool themselves, honoring the wrong people. The owner pronounced historical as "hysterical" and that is hilarious, indicating that as a group, blacks still don't value education.
