Could the hantavirus cruise ship outbreak lead to a pandemic? Experts explain the risk level

Hantavirus, a rare but deadly virus carried by rodents, has killed three people and infected at least eight amid an ongoing outbreak on a cruise ship, prompting concerns about a possible pandemic and comparisons to COVID-19.

“While this is a serious incident, (the World Health Organization) assesses the public health risk as low,” WHO chief Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in a press briefing on May 7.

  1. People incubation period is about 14 days before symptoms show up so that mean every stop they had before those people died they had already exposed several people around them meaning bad news already everywhere the cruise ship stopped they exposed everyone they came in contact with basically keep yourself safe protect yourself it looks like government is doing the same dam crap they did during Covid people protect yourselves and be kind to each other REGARDLESS RESPECT 🫡 💯✌️Godbless love one another ❤
