A wave of xenophobic violence has spread across South Africa, fuelled by a toxic mix of anger, disinformation and inflammatory mobilisation online.
At the centre of the movement is Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma – radio personality turned political agitator – who has emerged as the face of the new anti-immigration group March and March.

The claim that xenophobia is "very rife" across South Africa is a massive exaggeration.
Are there xenophobic incidents? Yes. They should be condemned wherever they happen. But taking isolated incidents and presenting them as the attitude of an entire country is simply dishonest.
South Africa remains home to millions of foreign nationals who live, work, study, and do business here every day. If the country were as uniformly hostile as some social media narratives suggest, that reality would not exist.
People also keep confusing immigration enforcement with xenophobia. They are not the same thing. 300 Ghanain nationals were repatriated claiming they feared remaing in SA, with only 10 having legal status. Enforcing immigration laws does not automatically equal hatred of foreigners.
Criticise crime. Criticise violence. Criticise specific incidents. But stop trying to brand an entire nation of more than 60 million people as xenophobic because it makes for a better headline.
What about their black leaders(from other African countries) who treat them bad?

Lies. The group has mentioned that they are against undocumented immigrants not all migrants. You can not minus people's lived experience. Children have died (more than 30) because of snacks they bought from shops owned by Somalis,Pakistani,Bangladeshi and Ethiopians.
You neglect to mention that March and March has stated on numerous times that no one should be attacked and no looting. You don't even state that drugs have been found in the places March and March has pointed out to Police.
