IBRAHIM TRAORE Responds to Russia’s 12% War Economy:Africa Chooses Development Over Endless Conflict
In this powerful Africa news report, Ibrahim Traore offers a different perspective on one of the world’s biggest strategic debates: how can a nation remain secure without sacrificing the very future it is trying to protect?
As global defense spending continues to rise and reports indicate Russia is allocating nearly 12% of its economy to war-related activities, Traore argues that every nation must ask a deeper question:
Can military strength exist without long-term economic strength?
This video explores the “Defense Without Economic Suicide Doctrine,” a framework that seeks to balance national security with agriculture, education, healthcare, infrastructure, technical training, and economic development.
Why did Ibrahim Traore declare:
“An army must protect the people. It must never consume the future of the people”?
How can defense spending strengthen local industry instead of increasing dependency?
Why are technical education, logistics, engineering, road construction, agricultural support, energy systems, and civilian infrastructure becoming essential parts of modern national defense?
From Burkina Faso and the AES Alliance to the broader global debate on defense budgets, economic resilience, industrial capacity, and African sovereignty, this story explores why many believe that the strongest countries are not simply those that buy more weapons—but those that build stronger societies.
Watch until the end to discover why Ibrahim Traore believes that real security is achieved when soldiers, farmers, engineers, teachers, entrepreneurs, and young people work together to build a nation that is both safe and prosperous.

President Ibrahim Traore did the right thing by questioning putin about war because all Africa want is peace as the season come and go greater grows the pain. When will they be a harvest for the world 💯 ❤for my African family!!!!!
Do you agree that a nation is strongest when defense spending also creates better roads, stronger industries, skilled workers, and opportunities for future generations?
Work not War🦁🧠🛠️🧩
So, so smart to say what you want.✅ Good friends will respect and respond well.
Keep doing what you are doing by learning from errors of the past. It's not a new situation. If you look at the old clips you will see African ministers who were invited to arm sale, not as seller buy buyers. It was so bad that I asked if they could not buy anything but weapons. I suggested buying tractors instead. Other than learning about Combine Harvesters used by the wheat farmers on great Praries lands in my geography lessons tractors were the only modern farming equipment I knew of. 🎉 They eventually got the message and started to buy tractors. It would appear that the arms sales have either been reduced or they are more discreet now.
😡 Go on show your displeasure because I am mentioning it. Remember that I am not your employee with a written secret clause in my contract.
Anyway, many years have passed since, 🤔 and hopefully your ministers have invested and have now training many to become great manufacturers and operators of tractors and other mechanical apparatus to improve the lives of many farmers and food production.
🎉 It's every man/country for himself. Are you listening Africa?
🦉Build our own.
🎉 Life with a rifle but no water, food, roads or medicin and illiteracy are just as equal to the end of life risks.
Blessings.

So True Got To Keep A Balance!!!!!!!
One thing Africa and all nations need to learn,is better health does not come through the end of a needle…..quite the opposite ,it leads to bodily injury or early death. Research the ingredients and don't let your ppl suffer for the big pHARMaceutical industries.
