Firstly, let me clarify who l am. I am Afrikan, Black, comfortable all my life, non-South African… but love South Africa (as l did some of my tertiary education there). Never been “illegal” ever.
However, l just have to add my opinions on the matter. I might be wrong, but I willl offer them anyway.
I have taken this same position of, pushing for easier documentation of foreign nationals and adding a tax on top of what locals pay for the privilege to access employment within SA. But that take has changed of late.
I cannot ignore that there is a populist moment happening in South Africa. And what this moment in particular is asking, is for the deportation of primarily Black undocumented Afrikans. I have come to a conclusion that the voice of these South Africans is popular enough that everyone else MUST HEED AND COMPLY. GRANT THEM THEIR SEXIT THAT THEY ARE DEMANDING.
I also would personally go further than that and push for ALL (documented and non-documented) Afrikans to leave South Africa. Why? Because South Africans (the louder majority) are stating to us, that their system is broken (they have accused a number of documented Afrikans of having bribed their way in. So we need a TOTAL evacuation by Afrikans from SA). LEAVE SOUTH AFRICA ALONE.. we can try to continue with the Pan-Afrikan project without them. They don’t need/want us.
Having done so… l can not ignore the fact that South Africa is the gateway to Afrika (and that comes with Multinationals launching commercial endeavors from South African headquarters). Since we are rebooting, to my fellow Afrikans, l propose we demand Multinationals open headquarters in Afrika at large (any country outside of SA…particularly Kenya, Rwanda …or even Mauritius, with some caution. Mauritius is not really pan Afrikan). This is because it is only fair, should they want access to the Afrikan markets. (They can stay in SA if they want to trade in that market…that will be to their own determination). Afrika should move forwards as it too sees fit, and this should ring fair to all parties concerned.
So while l sympathize and agree with the spirit and intent of us Pan Afrikans. I have to listen to, and respect actual popular opinion within South Africa itself. Even as they call Afrikans “cockroaches” (the same exact name Hutus called Tutsis just before they commenced a genocide of over 800,000 people.
From July 1st, we do not want any Amapiano at Afrikan celebrations. We’d rather employ Afrobeats, Kunduro, Kizomba, Zimdancehall, Rumba etc artists. Same applies to content creators on social media. We shall be actively following Afrikan creatives and unfollowing South African content creators/channels (unless they are clearly Pan Afrikan). Same applies to products in Afrikan stores, come July 31 we are not buying South African made/South African sourced/South African distributed products… we need what little money we have as Afrikans to build Afrika and help absorb the returning workforce. It is what it is.
PS: l cannot prove it, BUT l have a sneaking feeling all this most recent uproar (while warranted due to genuine socioeconomic conditions of poor South Africans)… is being stoked, orgainized and promoted by Western interests (read White oligarchs… in particular Elon and Israeli Government). The irony of me acquiescing is not lost on me as this is equivalent to me co-opting into what these White Oligarchs want to see on the Motherland. A division so deep we can not recover from.

You may want to burn it to your head. It will save you a lot problems. If you have no respect for your profession, the court why did you study law?
If you did a thorough check, you would see that the U.S.A. did joined the ICC and was signatory to the Rome Statute but rescinded its signature when the Republican party gained the presidency under George Bush. So to say "we never joined" is utter falsehood.
In addition, to make glaring declaration of contempt of the international courts be it ICC or ICJ at 17:38 "We have lunatics and crazies involved in the ICC . . . stupid organization” is below the belt by a law graduand (emphasis mine). If you have no respect for your profession, the court why did you study law? You should know the grievous legal implications of treating the court with contempt be it domestic or international. Always remember that you live in the same world with the rest of the international community. And the U.S. is not superior to any other sovereign country or organ of the United Nations. You may want to consciously re-read the United Nations Charter if you have forgotten its tenets.
