Think about it:
To be asked to social distance, wear a mask, take a vaccination and make other changes in one’s routine can be inconvenient, difficult, painful and traumatic. The benefits it provides aren’t always clear and it takes away freedoms that most aren’t used to giving up.
To willingly choose to sacrifice those freedoms to save the lives of “at risk” relatives and neighbors is an opportunity to show unselfish love and appreciation for the precious gift of life. Precious life that so many innocent people have lost and are still losing in this long battle against a common invisible enemy with a vicious appetite that thrives better in an atmosphere of confusion and hate.
We have to decide now; will we feed this enemy by standing up in defense of the rights and privileges it’s taking from us? Or will we starve this enemy and save our neighbors by momentarily setting aside those privileges and loving our neighbors back to life with our gifts of sacrifice?
Deciding to help others is a right that we all have the freedom to exercise.

The last time I was in Iraq for Iraqi Freedom, I had to wear a full body
chem suit. Those of you who were also in the military know exactly what
Im talking about. For those of you who dont, imagine that you are
wearing a snowsuit that doesn't breath because its sealed with charcoal.
Also imagine that its always 155 degrees out while your wearing it. You
also have to wear 50lbs of body armor and equipment including a kevlar
helmet and a full chemical FACE MASK respirator. We did this for weeks
during the beginning of the war because of the lie about there being all
sorts of WMD's just lying around the country. Imagine sweating so much
you have to pour sweat out of your boots when you could take them off.
Imagine being in that mask and your sweat making it so foggy you can
barely see let alone shoot. We did that for 6 weeks or more. And some of
you thinks its "slavery" to wear a piece of underwear on your face to
protect you and your country for just a little bit….
