Royal Navy Caribbean drugs bust sees cocaine worth over £40m seized
The Royal Navy said it is the sixth drug bust made by HMS Trent in 2024, and it has seized close to seven tons of drugs worth £551.5 million from traffickers.

For everyone saying the Navy needs to be patrolling the channel, it’s not their job and the RN is an important force globally. It’s the job of the BORDER FORCE (Even in the name) to stop the boats, the RN has far more important things to do. That’s what the military is there to do, it’s like asking the Paras to man the desks at Heathrow – don’t be absurd – it’s not their fucking job. It’s dangerous because your poor attitude will mean in the future the RN, RAF and Army will be tiny and only be UK based, reducing the UK’s power even further. Be proud of what our sailors, soldiers and aviators do.
