Well if they had not cut out the neighborhood money in our neighborhood unlike others. We had 4 H clubs and ymca's to give the children something to do. Not making no excuses but it's all by design there is no coincidence and then they want to say look at them but they do way worse that don't get reported

I'm pretty sure that "no snitching" rule never has been. I don't know if you actually know anyone who has done time or better yet, do you know anyone in jail today. Ask anyone in jail how did they get there. Someone ALWAYS snitch. They may not put it out there but everyone who ends up in jail ends up there because someone snitched. They snitch so much if they don't just snitch to one another about each other so they can handle it. You haven't lived that life and it doesn't sound like you even brushed nearby it. Tbh, that speaks volumes to me. I thought I was hearing a hint of anti blknss in some of your work. I used to be one of your original subscribers but when you started being downright hateful, I had to leave. It all makes sense now. You're completely disconnected.
I didn't live that life either but I was born in NW Washington, DC and I was raised in SE DC. We moved to the suburbs in my early teen years. The streets DO snitch. Yes, they may get back too but someone does snitch and nine times out of ten, if someone the killer knows and loves finds out they did it, they will snitch. Hell, if the shooter is a rapper, he'll snitch on himself. You have no idea how much they snitch on one another. Yes, they do get back but there is no real anti snitching rules in the hood. The real rule is not being pegged as the snitcher. If they can snitch and not get caught, they would tell everything you do. Another thing, you don't know the dirt police do to people living in gang territories. They will get someone, like myself who is NOT in the life. Just living there doesn't make me have anything to do with anything. They could be going after, say, my god brother (deceased now). They would grab me up, acting as if they were qu3stioning me, the drop me off ALONE in his rival gang's neighborhood then THANK ME FOR HELPING THEM when we never even talked and I had nothing to do with the situation, nor had any information. Then next thing you know, my body shows up riddled and the story they will tell will be completely different from the reality. Take the time and do a call in and maybe talk to people who live the life or who are forced to be around it.
I'm blessed. My parents took us out of that mess in my youth and we never looked back. I took my children out of the suburbs when DC started becoming gentrified and those folk started branching out into the subs. For the record, you aren't the end all of child rearing. Some folks aren't going to subscribe. That's ok

It's not glorified in our community, the smallest minority does not reflect the vast majority. Also, the police, police, we as the community pay taxes for them to do their job. We cannot pay taxes to post certified officers and put on the superman's cape everyday. We need to stop blaming B- Folks in general and the criminals or ignorant folks need to hold their own chicken nuggets and take responsibility as a small minority doing crime or stupid things.
