They drew lines creating borders to suit their greedy needs, without considering the devastating effect of this madness. How are Africans going to solve this crisis that Europeans created? One family in Cameroon, has one part of their land in Cameroon and another in Nigeria, because when colonial borders were created, they never checked to see whose land they were messing with. Please inform your journalists to bear this in mind each time they visit eastern Congo. This portion of eastern Congo , the Province of Kivu, is home to Banyarwanda ethnic group, one of Congo's five largest ethnic groups. Hiow did they end up in what is now Congo, that once belonged to King Leopold of Saxe Cobourg in Germany and the King of a newly created Kingdom of Belgium? As a result of the scramble for Africa, Rwanda lost three or four times the land of its size to English in Uganda, Belgians in the Congo and Germans in Tanganyika. You will find ancient native runyarwanda speakers in these three countries, and this is what the crisis in eastern Congo is all about. Banyarwanda of eastern Congo are Congolese and all they want is to be treated and respected as other Congolese instead of considering them alien Rwandans.

BBC sounds biased. Why do they ignore M23 has been there for years. Don't they know there are thousands of Congolese in refugee camps in Rwanda, Uganda, TZ, even in US. Why put words in his mouth that Rwanda is backing M23. They are fighting for their rights.
