White South African defends refugee status in US | BBC News

Afrikaner Charl Kleinhaus is among the group of nearly 60 white South Africans who have moved to the US under President Donald Trump’s controversial policy to grant refugee status to Afrikaners.

The 46-year-old left his family farm in Mpumalanga province, South Africa, for a new life in the US – saying he quit his homeland after receiving death threats in WhatsApp messages.

The status of white South African farmers has long been a rallying cry on the right and far-right of American politics, who claim there has been a “genocide” of white farmers in the country.

None of South Africa’s political parties – including those that represent Afrikaners and the white community in general – have claimed that there is a genocide in South Africa.

  1. let the south african refugees take up the farmland that foreign interests own and need to relinquish.
they've shown to be effective & self-sustaining, already ready to work & frankly an excellent work ethic.

  2. Hope this colonizers is ready for judgement of the Americas, 🇺🇸 has the original people POW on their land. The Transatlantic Slave Trade is a lie. A lie can't live forever. Wormwood is the immune system for🌎. She is destroying everything that's a threat/virus to this EUMELANIN/CO2🌎. Their arms/hands are too weak/short to 🥊 with your CO2(666) .🐥🏠

  3. If Thrump and Ellon was the president of South Africa (and literally the richest person in the world), and accepted American refugees this side, we would have probably gotten 49 million refugees.😂

  4. BBC should speak about how british government discriminate against red-haired people. An example is the horrific things said about Prince Harry. Another example of the injustice is how brits treated indigenous Irish people, even to the point of making war. Another example of inequality is the building of foreign religious buildings in Britain, as many as a staggering 3000 in the Britain, religions not indigenous to the country; another example is the deculturalisation of British people, to the point where the rich beautiful british culture, created over centuries becomes not recognisable. Foreigners rights exceed indigenous brits rights. Foreigners who have no interest in the monarchy; foreigners who have no interest in the indigenous religion; foreigners whose grandparents and great grandparents never defended the Crown during the two World Wars, in fact no participation in any of the country's wars.

Come on BBC ….. or is it now ZBC.

  5. What the actual fuck. We give speedo visas to people who support Apartheid now? America is officially a shit hole under trump. Trump and MAGA are garbage people. Taking the garbage from other countries and removing the hard workers that are already here.

  6. My comment was deleted.Just goes to show that the truth is there is no genecide. Your all a bunch of entitled racist. And the English have a lot of nerve, they have killed white South Afrikkans by the hundreds in the past. .

  7. The true face of the leftists is shown in the comment section, and it's hilarious. "So he left his mother in a country with genocide?" – Meanwhile, most refugees from Africa in Europe are military-age men who left their families behind, even though their countries were in the middle of civil wars. They're not poor either — many paid thousands of dollars to smugglers and often carry new, expensive phones. When they arrive in Europe, we give them free housing, money, clothing, and more. I guess all the outraged people in the comments are also protesting to kick African immigrants out of Europe?

  8. I 100% believe the White SA when they claim they face persecutions. I am in a white, blonde, Christian woman stuck and abused in Kazakhstan, which is a Muslim country, for over eight years now and I am planning on seeking asylum, too. I have a 4.0 GPA in Economics and an MBA from the USA. I cannot even get a US lawyer to talk to me. I was beaten countless times, isolated, abused, lied about, gaslighted, driven to two suicide attempts. Americans, ask Trump to help me.
