Ibrahim Traore is more than a President more than a leader. He leads the people ,and leads with the people ,a true true leader. His work speaks more than he speaks for himself. Burkina is blessed to have such a leader.For South Africa ,we had one but he was quickly removed before he served South Africa.And that was the true revolutionary,the late Chris Hani.Maybe we'll have one but for now we don't have such a leader in SA.Unfortunately.

Democracy is the worst decision for Burkina Faso, currently.
Democracy, contrary to popular belief, is not the silver bullet for developing countries. For example, China, is not a democracy, however, more of a meritocracy.
India and South Africa are 2 countries where democracy has not achieved the economic goals for the people. Democracy introduces influences from corrupt powers, whether foreign or local, as we've seen in SA and India.
Burkina should ideally be chosen a political system, similar to meritocracy, rather than Democracy.
Lt. General Mkhwanazi is our next or second African continent President as Abrahim Traore mark my words that what south Africa needs this present moment.

Looks like just another military Marxist dictator, he wants to drive out all Western capital and expertise just like Ramaphosa is doing. He has Russian mercenaries supporting him for a cut from mining profits .The only replacement for capital is China . Interestingly in other African countries and other parts of the world , Indonesia for example are actively driving out the Chinese. Basically you can have Western capital or Chinese capital , Western hegemony or Chinese Communist hegemony , your choice.
I totally agree with you, Sizwe. Captain Ibrahim Traore is the interesting, ' new kid on the block ' to watch. What I hear of his exploits leaves you wondering as to why other African leaders don't openly support him, but that question has a ready answer as well. His ways are totally different from the rest, and the rest don't like his ways because they will have to wean themselves from their self-serving ways to be genuinely compatible to him.

Yes he is definitely starting a new trend riverting across Africa! It is a positive movement to set the standards for looking after his own people in Africa. He has massive infrastructure and agriculture projects, banking projects that are inclusive of other African countries and benefiting constituents in his own country. Sharing the wealth with the locals is something that's not seen in most African countries! I applaud him for all that he is doing.
