The United States is the country that fought a Civil War over race issues. Africa slaughters millions over tribal differences even in the modern day. Ignorant about history and it’s inexcusable.
Juneteenth should be a day of celebration of freedom. A day of positive thought. We don’t celebrate the Fourth of July and talk about how bad the British were. A never-ending victim mentality. It’s not a way forward. 600,000 Americans died in the Civil War. Juneteenth should also be a day to remember that.
I volunteered to serve in the US Army, Military Police Corps when I was 17. It was the early 1970s. I was supporting the direction our nation was moving in.

She lived through Jim Crow, the Civil Rights Movement and she died during black lives matter! She said it's never ending it could be exhausting , but stay on course! My mother danced when Barack Obama walked in the White House! Stay the course👍
