  1. Juneteenth? Amazing that Black Americans don't know that it was the Republican Army that rode into the Democrat owned plantations…. and freed the last of the slaves. The battle was fierce. The Dems refused to release their slaves even after 1 year of the Emancipation Decree. Thank the Republicans for the Juneteenth celebration. And Black America…. the Truth will set you Free.

  2. Many of those who take issue with the Black, Red, and Green flag being present during Juneteenth celebrations often overlook the fact that, at the time of emancipation, formerly enslaved Africans were still not considered citizens of the United States. The Pan-Africanist mindset has existed longer than Black people have held official citizenship in this country.

  3. A celebration of freedom & family… For me Juneteenth marks arguably the worst most regretful day of my life & definitely the catalyst day that fractured an already estranged family & fading family even more that was my sole focus @ the time to bring back together as fast as possible. Sad when I think about all that has happened to me & what I've come to learn since then.

  4. We shut down the towns’, cities’, states’, country’s public offices (post offices, schools, RMVs, DPWs, etc.) for this: “ Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 that Union soldiers reached Galveston, Texas. They announced to the state that the Civil War was over and that all enslaved persons had been declared free.” WOKE FOLK, YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING!

  5. Juneteenth = Red, White, and Blue!!!!!
Juneteenth = Red, White, and Blue!!!!!
Juneteenth = Red, White, and Blue!!!!!
Juneteenth = Red, White, and Blue!!!!!
Juneteenth = Red, White, and Blue!!!!!

Not green red yellow black or any other colors!!!

  6. I want everybody to think about something….. ask yourself why Joe Biden is the one that made this a holiday and nobody else did not even the black president we had made this a holiday do you think he had the black people in mind for a good reason when he made the holiday or do you think he was just doing the same thing the liberals do which is sort of like Munchausen syndrome….. where the mom makes her own child sick take them to the doctor to get better just so the doctors and everybody can see that the mom is a good mom for trying to take care of her kid but behind closed doors she's the one making her own child sick

  7. The only relevant question is why a certain people have a problem with celebrating Juneteenth? We celebrate July 4th even though that day only marks this country's freedom from England. The only people with any Rights were white men who owned land. Juneteenth marks the day all American citizens became free. Why is that not something you as an American would want to celebrate? The day that all of your American brothers and sisters were free from slavery?

  8. Is it true that, since George Washington owned slaves, it is fitting and proper that we no longer have his birthday as a national holiday but instead replace it with Juneteenth? Is this an appropriate symbol of replacing the USA's legacy of slavery with a new era of post-slavery?

  9. The last of the slaves were released by the Choctaw Indians in March of the following year but you know, correct history doesn't count any longer. That's right, the tribes also had slaves of other tribes and many races.

  10. Anthony Johnson was the first slave owner in America's history (Black man) Black people started slavery.
White people where the first slaves in Africa. Native Americans were slave owners also they had over 1 million Black slaves.
