  2. This journalist is just lying and propagandist of Thiam. The failed CEO of credit suisse who bankrupt credit suisse. Nobody is wondering here. Bloomberg can do better than that. The stability you are talking about is under ouattara. The economic growth is also under ouattara. So what are you finally talking about?

  3. No 4th term as per ours laws.
In addition, how can you keep other big leaders from competing and expect a peaceful election???
    No way!!
On this 09th August, 1 million persons came out in Yopougon to stand against this dictatorship and demand Presidents Thiam, Gbagbo, Soro to be reinserted into the game.

  4. ECOWAS is ok with electoral and constitutional coups but not military. It's a joke. The military will give justice to the people, as in Bukinafaso, Mali, Niger, Guinea, and Gabon.

  5. Concerns you said. Why is this any surprise to you guys?? This is Africa this is what it’s known for best Coups and Dictatorships then they turn around and blame the white man. Go figure

  6. This president is transforming ivory coast. He is building new high ways, new high rise buildings. The country is changing daily. This is our lee kwan. We want him to finish the works he has started. In Africa, the builders are rare, those who come to office to make numerous irrelevant speeches about colonization are plentiful. The continent needs builders.

  7. Considering events that led to his old idiots presidency one would have thought he wouldn’t even consider staying in office a second after his 2nd term but what did he do he changed the constitution and went for a third and now at 83 years he wants another term.

Indeed Africans and blacks are the most idiotic cowards. Because they have so much to steal in power they never wish to let go that power.

In the end the idiots in Ivory Coast will vote for him.

Then the next president will come and also decide to change the constitution to 10year term and will also rule for ever.

So why do we want to be like the elite countries but do things differently

    Ei black man

  8. OCTOBER 1, 2025 – INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS IN SOUTHERN CAMEROONS–AMBAZONIA
ALL AFRICA MUST STAND WITH US
On our Independence Day, the people of Southern Cameroons–Ambazonia filled the streets carrying peace plants—a symbol of hope and unity. In return, Biya of La République du Cameroun answered not with dialogue, but with brutality. His French-backed BIR forces attacked with bullets, tear gas, and helicopter gunships.

Since 2017, more than 70,500 innocent Ambazonians have been slaughtered under Biya’s so-called “military solution.” Today, Macron’s France continues to arm and protect Biya’s occupation, while our people endure killings, torture, oppression, and recolonization—all in full view of the United Nations and its Security Council, which has shamelessly failed the peaceful people of Southern Cameroons–Ambazonia.

We gained independence on October 1, 1961—yet remain in chains under France and La République du Cameroun, which itself became independent on January 1, 1960. We are not part of La République du Cameroun—and we never will be.

This October 1, 2025, every Ambazonian must rise to celebrate our independence so the world can see and hear our cause. No ghost towns on this day—rain or shine, we will march, sing, and stand together. Our freedom is non-negotiable. Our independence is irreversible.

  9. Before they become leaders, they will emphasize their western education and credentials, but as soon as they get into office, they become tyrants. Crazy!

  10. WHAT A HELL STABILITY THE CROOKED ARE TALKING ABOUT IN A COUNTRY WHERE THE CHEAT PUTSCHISTE EXECUTIVE OF THE ARMED GANG IMPOSED ON POWER BY LIES AND VIOLENCE AND HAS NOW THE COUNTRY IN AN UNBEARABLE FOREIGN DEBTS WHILE HIS BRUTAL AND DECEPTIVE REGIME DESTROY HOUSES AND FORCE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS TO SLEEP IN ROUGH CONDITONS, POVERTY AND LIVING COST HAS GROWN DEVASTATING FOR THE LARGE MAJORITY OF THE POPULATION?
HIS PREDECESSOR REPAID THE FOREIGN DEBTS AND WAS READY TO ENGAGE THE COUNTRY IN THE INDUSTRIALISATIONS WHEN HE WAS ROBBED HIS VICTORY IN 2011 BY THE FRENCH MILITARY HELICOPTERS FOR THE CURRENT CHEAT AND DESPOT ON POWER. THE SO-CALLED 2016 CONSTITUTION THE CHEAT AND DESPOT WANTS TO BASE HIS FOURTH TERM HAS NOT ABROGED THE PRECEDING THAT AUTHORISES AT ONE RENEWABLE ONCE THE NOMBER OF PRESIDENTIAL MANDATE.

  11. I've been a Ouattara supporter for a long time and I am mostly satisfied of is governance, but I too think he has to step down and rest. There are a lot of competent people within his party fir the presidency.

  12. FRENCH PUPPET. A TRAITOR, WHO LIKES THIS MAN IN IVORY COAST 🇨🇮. Don’t tell me u guys are blind, he lets the French train Ivorian terrorist to attack their own brother in Burkina Faso. THROW HIM AWAY. Ivory Coast is disappointing
