Maponya Mall e-hailing attack | Tensions between taxi operators, e-hailing drivers continue



There’s a heavy police presence at Maponya Mall in Soweto as tensions tensions between taxi operators and e-hailing drivers continue to simmer. This is where one person was killed and two others wounded in what is believed to be a taxi violence incident last night. Two e-hailing vehicles were attacked by unknown suspects at the mall. A number of Johannesburg Metro Police Vehicles are stationed inside the mall premises, while SAPS and National Traffic Police members are stationed outside.
