Tensions Surge as Trump Targets Colombia in Expanding Caribbean Drug War

International tensions closer to home are rising as the U.S. military continues striking alleged drug traffickers in the Caribbean. Just days ago, President Trump vowed to cut off aid to Colombia—accusing its president of being an “illegal drug leader.”

Colombian President Gustavo Petro rejected Trump’s accusations, describing himself as the main enemy of drugs in his country. A statement from the Colombian Foreign Ministry called the comments “a direct threat to national sovereignty.” Still, President Trump is not backing down.

“They make drugs. They refine drugs. They make cocaine. They have cocaine factories. They have no fight against drugs,” President Trump told reporters.

  1. Don't let the corrupt shitfucks (the dems and media lackies) stop you sir. You are saving the lives of 100,000 American young people annually with your war on fentanyl, something the dems accepted as collateral damage in return for 30 million illegal immigrants (that's how the dems got the fentynal into the country) that they then counted in the census resulting in 30 extra seats in the house and as many electoral votes. Each dem has to independently examine their conscience and determine whether they feel it was worth it. As the are mostly possessed by demons, I imagine most are ok with what they traded for political power.

  2. question: If USA has 7 military bases in Colombia because the have war against the drug and drug dealers, why that business doesn't stop?
I can think, it happens because they help the drug dealers, or they are part of the business

  3. The message is simple, quit sending your dope to our country. Too many countries have made billions for decades doing it, and yes many Americans and politicians are to blame along with these countries. However, we have the right to say no more. Find a better way to make a living

  4. There are a lot of tools that can be used to stop drug boats. Lasers, directed sound devices, even a net. The net would be interesting; set them up using robotic drone seacraft that intercept the drug boats. Once the drug boat becomes ensnared, deflate the bouys that keep the net floating and let a set of concrete-filled 55 gallon drums take the boat underwater. You know, James Bond meets Mafia stuff.

No explosion, no mess. And the drug runners can be rescued and returned to their home countries.

  5. Thank you President Trump.
Go after South America Venezuela , Colombia and Mexico..Most important Colombia per this country has been the one contaminating the world with drugs

  6. jokes on us its actually just a few people trying to give the drugs to us so that we can hold it so it doesn't fall into peoples hands that want to sell it so they desperately go into the water just for trump to blow them up instead of using the coast guard like he should be doing.

  7. Everybody know Petro Colombia president has same ideology from Venezuela. Give white flag to narcos to bring more insecurity to Colombian Citizen. And collaborate with narcos.

  8. Not alleged.. Fentynal epjdemic in US.. Were does it come from ? Don't fish in international waters now.. Fish someware else.. Cartel needs to sell dope to keep the money flowing.. 😐

  9. CARTELS ARE PIZZED – SO ARE HEADS OF COLUMBIA, MEXICO & VENEZUELLA PIZZED – THEIR "KICK-BACKS" IN $$ HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS ARE "DRYING UP"!! AND IF LEADERS OF COLUMBIA, MEX & VENEZUEALA " EXPOSE CARTELS” THEY END UP IN A DUMPSTER, IN 2 PIECES. IT’S "MANDATORY” ALL DRUG FARMS & FACTORIES BE BOMBED TO DUST!!!

  10. This is nothing more than the CIA wanting control of the cartels' drug money. Just like it was in Afghanistan. Use the U.S. taxpayers' money to fund a government war over control. All that money is leaving the US to Mexico. Billions in drug money, the US wants control. It has nothing to do with saving Americans' lives. The drugs will continue just like always, but cheaper.
