The U.S. is ordering the deployment of the Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group in the Caribbean as the U.S. continues to target alleged drug smuggling boats.
“In support of the President’s directive to dismantle Transnational Criminal Organizations (TCOs) and counter narco-terrorism in defense of the Homeland, the Secretary of War has directed the Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group and embarked carrier air wing to the U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) area of responsibility (AOR),” chief Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said in a statement Friday.
“The enhanced U.S. force presence in the USSOUTHCOM AOR will bolster U.S. capacity to detect, monitor, and disrupt illicit actors and activities that compromise the safety and prosperity of the United States homeland and our security in the Western Hemisphere,” he added. “These forces will enhance and augment existing capabilities to disrupt narcotics trafficking and degrade and dismantle TCOs.”

My three cousins that died because of drug overdoses. I'm all four doing what we can to reduce the supply however and try to get rid of these people and there's only one way of course that produced us and don't care about human life. But I also worry about our environment. It's too bad there's some other way I wish there was instead of just blowing the boat up and whenever drugs they have in there even though they're wrapped in plastic. It will deteriorate someday and the poor creatures in the sea even though the ocean is vast. I hope it doesn't have any detrimental effect on our ocean. We have to protect our environment. It's the only one we have. I wish they could just confiscate the drugs like they've done in the past recently somehow and destroy them properly neutralize them. The chemists know how to do it. That's my only concern but the blow up those boats so all that drug don't get here and don't get to the world and kill people. Yes, I agree. But again to repeat I worry about our environment again.
