Naa Mamle, did you hear of the recent visit of the Christian Council to the Presidency in Ghana? They wanted the president to sink more than $400 million US dollars into that pit Akufo-Addo created with $98 million US dollars in the name of a National Cathedral. This demand came at a time when our teeming youth remain unemployed and a ticking time bomb waiting to explode in our faces, and plunge our country into an endless state of insecurity.
For me, it is clear that those ministers of the gospel are nothing but a bunch of colonialist relics whose interest is to keep us poor and weak through religion, instead of the jobs that empower us to be self-reliant. They would prefer our youth spending time aimlessly at the churches praying instead of going to work with their brains to solve the problems of our lives and society with the brains God has given us.
