South Africa is a founding member of the G 20. No member of the G 20 needs to be invited,. Every member countries attend by virtue of membership. Unless the other 18 other members agree with Trump, then the South African delegation cannot attend and that would mean the end of the G 20 in its current form.
Everything President Donald Trump has said so far is true and he has very good reason to exclude the current South African government. Note that President Trump never said there is a full on white genocide in South Africa (this is an exaggeration of the media), but, South Africa was placed on stage 6 of the Genocide List by the worldwide watch dog organization "Genocide Watch" in 2014. Statistics from 2016 already show a murder rate of 108 per 100 000 when it comes to white heads of households on farmland, which is more than 3 times higher than the already high overall murder rate of 34 per 100 000.

I'm against the corruption elements in the ANC and personally think that they're now a stumbling block to national growth and visionary leadership that we desperately require as a country, especially in these testing times. However, as a South African, I can't support a lie being paddled by this Trump administration and the racist White groupings who are opposed to anything aimed at transformation and correcting the wrong of the past. It just doesn't make sense to me how someone can see it's a good thing when 7% of population own 72% of private land and 85% of population who are native citizens only own 4% of their own land. How some people see it's a good thing when 95% of the economy is in the hands of only 7% population and the rest of citizens (60%) live below poverty line. Whenever the government is trying to introduce reforms to bridge this inequality, groups like Solidarity and AfriForum run to Trump and Europe to scream genocide, Racial discrimination, etc. How do you enjoy your ill acquired wealth while your immediate neighbours are dying in poverty and relying on government grants. This is absurd and just sad to witness. I recall working for this great company as an Engineer. One of the Top 5 biggest construction companies in South Africa. After 2 years, I bought myself an 2007 Mercedes Benz, month end they cut my car allowance, HR told me it's a benefit for seniors and it was mistakenly put on my package, 6 months later, my work contract was ended siting that they no longer needed more engineers and the project is heading to a close. Fast forward later, I'm still unemployed and employers tell me that I don't have good reference. When company took my car allowance benefits, I asked HR "Is this company not happy when it's employees are thriving and now able to buy themselves vehicles, shouldn't that make an employer more happy that they are making a difference in people's lives?"

May be this is a blessing in disguise – shedding the yolk of American bullying has had to be addressed anyway.
