Traore Bets On Gold To Fund Burkina Faso’s Billion Development Plan | Firstpost Africa | N18G

Ibrahim Traore has announced a $64 billion development strategy for Burkina Faso aimed at transforming its economy from 2026 to 2030, focusing on security, governance, education, and infrastructure. Despite optimism, economists express concerns over the feasibility and financing, noting the government’s estimation of raising 68% of funds domestically may be overly ambitious, especially with a current budget deficit. The country’s rising gold production could be pivotal, yet critics warn of global price volatility risks.

  3. That's why, I'm expecting too much changes in Ghana from president John Mahama, because he is going to be the first & the longest democratic president in Ghana history (over 12yrs) in power.
    Africa is just a
NATURAL RICH, therefore any serious president in Africa, doesn't need more than
2yrs to develop his or her country/nation.
$165.000 per kg of gold🪙🥇 but still Ghanians were desperately needed IMF loans badly! wow!

  4. Everytime I see that sweetheart, the word"junta" comes to mind 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Man, she loved calling Traore "junta", that I thought she had a crush on that "junta"❤😂

  5. Just listening to how she talks about the whole thing, President Traore is just a "Military Leader"? No, is a LEADER'S LEADER! A President, a Head-of-State, and a blessing! Raising the money will prove to be difficult? That's the point!!!!!! It's not going to be easy, and he told us all that right up front! Then she's like if they rely too much on gold blah blah blah, and they're running a budget deficit so we'll see if it works blah blah You can SMELL the fact that they don't want his OR Burkinabe people to succeed. But, they will anyway.
