I'm so thankful for your ability to fully articulate your experience! It gives verbage to a related experience that I had, while I've never been one with skill to fully articulate experiences with excellence! Much of our transitional experiences were alike, but I never looked down, while I was slowly ascending, because it completely caught me off-guard and I knew that I wasn't controlling my movement. The differences between our experiences were that, my ascension landed me directly in front of a pearly-gated castle that was definitely not made by hands. I was in awe! There, also was no ground; only clouds as the foundation. As I moved my eyes examining the environment, the precious stones on the castle and the gate were so sharp that they had a cutting sensation on my vision. They were too sharp for me to see individual stones. No voices or beings appeared, but I automatically knew that the God that I serve and the eternal home that he has prepared for me was being confirmed. The lifted weight, peace, and joy that came over me was overwhelmingly unexplainable! I never moved my feet or looked behind me. I focused on the scene in front of me. This experience was relief from my deep sorrow from having recently learned that I was a newly wed who was married to a criminal who used our marriage to hide behind his crimes and the pulpit to prey on his victims, while also victimizing me and making mockery of my music ministry and commitment to God. I was, fearfully, in the midst of secretly making plans to leave him, since he displayed violence, whenever I made him aware. This experience assured me that I was not alone but that my work wasn't done. Upon my slow descending, I started to resist, cry, and beg God not to return me to earth. Then, I sadly felt the weight of my physical being return. You and I stayed silent about this experience for a long time for the same reasons. This experience sealed my blessed assurance that our Heavenly Father exists and that there is indescribable eternal life for believers! This occured while in my early 20's, but I had already been faithfully serving in my divine calling since the age of 8. These types of experiences remain vivid in our memory!❤❤❤
