This is why a deep knowledge of African history needs to be properly researched and then taught to every black/African person. People have this misconception that pre-colonial Africa was ruled by dictatorships when that wasn't the case. This is concerning, honestly. I'm still hoping for the best with his leadership but I worried we're repeating the exact same mistakes of the recent past.

Democracy is good because the future leaders of Burkina Faso will not be like him and they will use the power against the people
Traoré is currently Burkina Faso's biggest problem. Remember he promised to improve security and since he took over it's got worse. The badly disciplined army and VDPs have even killed Burkinabes.
He's now disenfranchised millions of people. It's all being done simply for the good of Traoré and the regime. It's only about keeping power.
