A similar situation happened to a journalist, Ahmed Suale, in Ghana when a similarly vituperous and cantankerous politrickian, Kennedy Agyapong, threatened him on air, subsequently resulting in his assassination. Examples abound in Nigeria Dele Giwa springs to mind.
As an observer of power, I am wary of the will to power and the malleability of human morals in the quest for it.
