RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – The Rapid City VFW on Main Street hosted a charity breakfast Saturday to raise money and support local veterans.
Organizers said families, friends, and anyone looking for a meal were invited. A full breakfast menu was served, and the VFW also had bar service available.
An acting state treasurer for South Dakota chapters with the U.S. Military Motorcycle Club said proceeds support veteran causes.
“The proceeds that we make from these breakfasts all go towards other causes that support veterans, a portion of it is donated back to the VFW, and then various of donations are made to individual veterans,” Andrew Cook said.
Organizers said stopping in for breakfast is a way to show support for veterans who have served the community.
