Isaiah 26:20-21
"Hambani, bantu bam, ningene ezingontsini zenu, nivale iingcango zenu ngasemva kwenu, nizimele umzuzwana, kude kudlule ukubhavuma. Kuba, yabona, uYehova uphuma endaweni yakhe, ukuze abuvelele kubo ubugwenxa babemi behlabathi; ihlabathi lowatyhila amagazi alo, lingabi sabaselela ababuleweyo balo."
"Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by. See, the LORD is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will disclose the blood shed on it; the earth will conceal its slain no longer."

Deuteronomy 28:43-44
[43] “Foreigners who live in your land will gain more and more power, while you gradually lose yours. [44] They will have money to lend you, but you will have none to lend them. In the end they will be your rulers.

😊😊😊😊No one is born xenophobic. No mother raises her child to hate another human being because of where they come from.
But my heart breaks for the millions of poor South Africans who have been waiting for dignity, jobs, decent housing, quality healthcare, and a better future for decades. They wake up every day carrying the weight of unemployment, poverty, and broken promises. They feel forgotten in the very land they call home.
This pain does not justify violence or hatred against foreign nationals. Innocent people should never become the target of anger. Yet we must also stop pretending that the suffering of poor South Africans is not real. Their cries matter. Their struggles matter. Their future matters.
Instead of turning people against one another, our leaders must confront the real problems: unemployment, poverty, corruption, poor service delivery, and effective immigration management. South Africans and foreign nationals alike deserve to live in peace, safety, and dignity.
May we choose compassion over violence, justice over division, and solutions over blame. A nation that listens to the cries of its people is a nation that can heal.
