Operation Ubuntu | We will not remain silent: Protesters

Memoranda of demands have been handed over to representatives of the Departments of Home Affairs and Human Settlements, and the police, as part of the Cape Town leg of “Operation Ubuntu”.

Marchers took to the streets in the Mother City, Johannesburg and Durban, to protest against what they describe as hate, afrophobia and xenophobia.

It took place against the backdrop of ongoing protests countrywide against undocumented migrants.

Organisers have called for a moratorium on the repatriations of migrants.

  1. 0:57 Imagine preferring someone else’s home rather than fixing yours up. These people are nuts.People stop calling South Africans names for trying to fixing their country , go back home and do the same.

  2. Well you lot have remained very silent about the horrific crimes committed daily against your fellow South Africans, not to mention racist economic laws.
Your fake concern for your "African brothers and sisters" cannot be taken seriously!

  3. "Ubuntu" has been SUSPENDED
    until further notice.

    These fly-by-night NGOs
    must take their "Ubuntu"
& use it as fuel to take action
    against Zanu-PF in Zimbabwe
    (for example),

    so that illegal Zimbabweans
can go back home to a
    safe & prosperous country.

    Zimbabweans are being
    oppressed in their own country,
    AS WE SPEAK ,
    by a wanna-be Dictator.

    They must use their "Ubuntu"
to help their "brothers & sisters"
    fight INCOMPETENT & CORRUPT
    governments across all of
    the FAILED STATES of Africa,

    instead of violating & abusing
    our South African Immigration Laws
    & then protesting against the
    enforcement of LAW & ORDER
in South Africa, by South Africans.

  4. They are protecting their source of cheap labour. We will see where they are going to operate because in our poor and marginalised residence we will no share space with unknown individuals as no body protest to see to it that our wellbeing is protected. If they want to keep them they must pay rent for them in Centurion, Sandton, Camps Bay, Umhlanga and many other expensive places because we will not be forced to welcome people we don't know where they came from

  5. No country in ds continent allows ds, y South Africa should bend it's own LAWS to bring every African here???? 😢

    MARCH AND MARCH WILL MARCH…
    WE WILL MARCH
    WE'LL MARCH UNTIL WE WIN 🎶 🎵 🎵 🎶

  6. 🤦🏽‍♀️Now which NGO funded this display. Theres so much internal community things that needs attention like housing and gang violence but they are focused on undocumented and illlegal immagrants doing what they want.

  7. But you remained silence when hospitals and clinics were no longer servicing our country because of foreigners stealing medicines that were meant for us you remained silence when our children's rights of education was nearly taken away by foreigners 90 percent of drug dealers on sizokthola show are foreigners and you remain silence your mission is clear is to disturb South Africans from doing what is right in the name of Ubuntu

  8. Funny how everyone is running with Ubuntu..
Ubuntu is a Southern Africa concept, not ALL Africans are familiar with the concept, hence they are the way they are..FULL STOP.Go home, now that you learnt some Ubuntu here, go practice it at your home countries.

  9. Humiliation, disrespect and shame are a very important and necessary life experience to go thru. The people that are humiliated in this country must accept this humiliation rituals that are being performed within and without. It is very important and necessary to go through such process. The furnace is being heated up at this stage and these people must be prepared to enter into the tunnels of this furnace that is being prepared for them. It is very necessary. South Africa is at its best at the moments and the advanced best is yet to come. Yes it is very painful but please act wisely and respectfully and please do not retaliate to any force.

  10. Our biggest threat in Sa are the criminal communist politicians! They have destroyed the prosperity of all citizens! Compare anything 30, years ago destroyed! Vote them Out if you want jobs and a future for your family

  11. Radical so called leaders with no education or qualification cannot lead to prosperity and should be voted out ! We don’t want jailbirds in parliament! A kintergarden has more potential than the current clowns

  12. Moyo is a coward and attention seeker , the 31 of July was open for you to go Zimbabwe and March against the atrocities done in that country against your own people. …bro what happened 😂😂😂
