Xenophobic violence rocks South Africa as migrants told to “leave”  | The World | ABC NEWS



There’s been unrest on the streets of South Africa as demonstrators held widespread anti-immigrant marches. Crowd members were seen holding sticks, clubs and other weapons as they marched through Johannesburg demanding the immediate withdrawal of all undocumented foreigners from the country. June 30 marks an ‘unofficial deadline’ set by the activists for all immigrants to leave, which has seen thousands of people flee South Africa in recent days.
