  1. this is quite possibly the saddest thing.

it's so great that the kids are getting educated.

as someone who's been close to being homeless and has spent time sleeping on friend's couches before I had my family, I completely understand the kids' ask for their own space. kids want to claim some space as their own, as a place where they can be by themselves, a place to relax and just be a kid.

while it's nice to hear that this school is funded by private donors, this leaves the school and these families dependent on charity when their government should be doing EVERYTHING to ensure homelessness doesn't perpetuate, especially with young children .

  2. It breaks my heart to know people are going through these situations. This is such a heart warming and beautiful thing. Our tax dollars needs to go to more places like this. This makes me appreciate the little bit i do have even mors than i already do. No person. Adult or child should have to go threw this. We are all human.. Just goes to show most companies dont provide a livable wage. Corporate greed and lack of empathy and consideration to their employees. Pay SHITTY.. More profit on our end..

  3. I lived at CRM with my boys for 10 months from July 2011-April 2012. My 3 boys went to Positive Tomorrows. They gotta meet Kevin Durant, and my youngest son was on a billboard with Durant here in OKC, sitting in his lap from when he visited Positive Tomorrows. This is crazy to see on Vice News!!

  4. Blessings to all. The city should be doing something for people who have fallen on hard times. It's a shame for the Us to have so many homeless people Countrywide like it's a 3rd world country

  5. She is such a great mother 💯❤️👏🏻 This world isn’t fair. Good people suffer because of wealth gaps due to greed and money hoarding. I’ve been homeless with my son too. I understand completely the heartbreak of just wanting to give your child basic needs and not being able to. I’m so thankful for programs like this, but I can’t help but worry about the children that are not in these programs due to not enough room or funds. We cannot let any child get left behind or lost in this cruel world.
