  1. And this is why we are losing to China. We are filling our universities by skin color instead of merit. Our best and brightest should be getting these coveted spots. We need high level math and science students. We have to stop dumming it down to check a box. Everything should be based on merit. I don't care what color the students are…I just want the best minds working on our future.

  2. Giving someone something based on their race (or gender) is an insult…you are telling them (without telling them) that you don’t believe they could achieve it on their own. It’s degrading to assume that someone can’t achieve a grade (or goal) because of gender or race.

  3. He won’t be the last there are thousands of speeches that have “ended” cancel culture, racism, abortion and so many dividing categories. Unfortunately these are going away as long as hatred exists

  4. You actually left out some very important information in this story which, if you actually reported it, would completely change the interpretation. I’m not surprised, this is the Fox Propaganda News Network, after all.

  5. Being judged solely on one’s merit would be great if racial bias didn’t exist. The reason this is an issue is because white applicants DO have an advantage over non-white applicants despite having the same, and sometimes lesser, qualifications. That is not a Gen Z or leftist opinion, that is a fact. Those who choose to ignore that fact are ignoring the implications of systemic racism.

  6. At first i thought this was disappointing but then I realized 3-4 years ago he would've been fired and labeled a racist. Maybe one day everybody will realize making any decisions based on somebody's skin color is wrong.

  7. You have to hide all of that stuff to prevent discrimination. It’s a no brainer. Although people can still discriminate based on someone’s name, so there’s still that. That part sucks.

  8. When are they going to finally 'cancel' MLK!? Ignore character and merit, concentrate on the skin, gender, and wokeness. LOL, My spellcheck app just informed me that the word "wokeness" doesn't exist, and it 'suggested' the word "weakness"!! Maybe the computer knows something we should all consider?
