  1. Sudden it was, doubtless. But unprovoked? Words matter. Facts matter. "Sudden and unprovoked." If someone were trying to kill me with a rifle, I would feel provoked, or at the least annoyed.

  2. Safari hunting is a relic of colonialism, rooted in the outdated mentality that nature is something that must be conquered by man. This is nature kicking man’s butt.

  3. "UNPROVOKED"! BIASED!! STOP SLAUGHTERING INNOCENT ANIMALS…IN THEIR OWN HABITAT! These lunatics spend thousands of dollars..to fly around the world and massacre animals "minding their own business"..in their own natural setting just trying to survive! Do stupid things.. get a stupid response..FAFO

  4. We DONT want Texans murdering our South African Heritage >> Come to see our Wild Life and bring your Nikon cameras .. Dallas Safari Club etc can go to hell

  5. Perhaps his family will mount his noggin for the trophy wall. An old proverb and an even older gospel: 52 “Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.

  6. The good guy's won this one.
If I believed in bronze age mythology I'd be certain that Asher Watkins was destined to an eternity in hell, but I don't believe.
This shouldn't stop the friend and loved ones of Watkins who do believe from contemplating his badly gored soul roasting in flames, forever.
I'll probably just imagine Don Jr and Eric meeting their own buffalo's. Hopefully soon enough for their Dad to know it's happened. Not that he'd care.
