That area has Southernland in the same county I believe. Back in the mid 80 I worked as a Federal Special agent transferring prisoners anyplace throughout the world. On a early fall afternoon I had to place a check in call to my office and needed to make a comfort stop for myself ,prisoners and my partner. At the time being a late 30 6'2," dark complexion black man , waiting for everyone else to complete as I approached the gas station facility in business attire without jacket weapon and badge on hip a good ole boy came out with a shotgun refusing use. As I was the only Melanated person.
