Africans and black Americans don't have a true culture.

However, your comparison of forced labour and exploitation of workers in Africa with American slavery is flawed. Slavery went beyond exploitation. Humans were treated like property; they were never paid; they lacked the freedom of choice to and not to work and where to use their labour. Those exploited and forced into labour, like Africans (South Africans for example) could exercise these limited freedoms. Chinese are not enslaving Africans. This is another flawed narrative. An example of exploitation and abuse is not a reflection of the entire Africa-Chinese relationship.
We respect and love African-Americans. The other gentleman is disrespectful and intellectually dishonest.

A prominent Black American buried in Ethiopia is: "Colonel John Charles Robinson", also known as "The Brown Condor". He was a pioneering aviator who established the Imperial Ethiopian Air Force and trained pilots to help defend Ethiopia against fascist Italy in the 1930s. After returning to Ethiopia following the war, he helped found Ethiopian Airlines and is buried in Addis Ababa.

I appreciate this video, I think your perspective is perfect. The reason why they say we don't have a culture is because our culture fluent while others is stagnant. They're looking for traditions that are hundreds, thousands of years old that have not changed. Our culture is progressive and have and still influential around the world. @phil – I have watched this channel for a very long time. And I have a real question. I came into your channel as a proud African American. But now you are a FBA/black American. Why does your channel still have the word African in it? You are talking about trips to Africa, for what? Africa is not an FBA home. And you are talking about all this pro black American stuff with an African continent design in the background. Confusing .If the black Americans are so different, why be up in Africa? Because the color of your skin? I thought they were not your people? I am African American and proud. I am an African person. Being black is not a reason to claim the continent of Africa as home or the Africans as your brothers and sisters. Let them and African Americans be Africans. And let FBA/black Americans just be American. I don't care if people from the continent don't accept me as an African. I get my right to self identity from my own African Ancestry. You are just American. Who cares about race or the color of your skin. Them being pigmented doesn't make them your people, If you don't identify as an African. And yes, I am a descendent of Africans brought to American during the trans-atlantic slave trade but Proud AA! That is why Africa is my ancestral homeland and Africans there are my people.
